Here is your chance to reduce the amount of garbage your household sends to the landfill and create rich compost for your spring garden in the process!

Keith O'Dell, owner of Castaway Compost, will share his experience with turning household food waste into gardening gold with an indoor worm composting bin.  Indoor worm composting is an easy, convenient way to dispose of food and other household waste products.  The plastic worm bins can be set under the sink or close by and have a soft clean earthy smell.

Participants will learn how to effectively care for the worms including what is the best bedding and food; what not to feed the worms; how to harvest the compost and the worms; and worm bin issue indicators and how to address them.

Check out Keith's website HERE.
